Ione Nascimento is a Project Manager at IDIS. She holds a degree in International Relations from the Catholic University of Brasilia and a Masters degree in Sustainable Development (Ethnodevelopment) from the University of Brasilia. She has served as a UN official and consultant for 17 years, managing socio-environmental projects at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the operations of the World Centre for Sustainable Development (Rio+ Centre). She is a partner at Elion Consultoria and Assessoria, where she works as a socio-environmental consultant on national and international technical cooperation projects. She is a practitioner of Nonviolent Communication and a facilitator of dialogues and participatory processes through the Germinar Program of Comviver, and an evolutionary leader through Cuidadoria. She holds a Prince2 certification in project management from Axelos and Elas Projetam.
