{"id":24577,"date":"2026-05-18T14:33:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-18T17:33:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.idis.org.br\/en\/?p=24577"},"modified":"2026-05-18T14:33:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T17:33:09","slug":"together-for-health-program-launches-2025-annual-activity-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.idis.org.br\/en\/2026\/05\/18\/together-for-health-program-launches-2025-annual-activity-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Together for Health Program Launches 2025 Annual Activity Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Together for Health (Juntos pela Sa\u00fade, in Portuguese) is an initiative of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bndes.gov.br\/SiteBNDES\/bndes\/bndes_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>National Bank for Economic and Social Development (<\/strong><strong>BNDES<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><\/a>, managed by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.idis.org.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Institute for the Development of Social Investment (<\/strong><strong>IDIS<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><\/a>, developed in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the project reached a decisive stage of consolidation and implementation, operating in\u00a0<strong>64 municipalities in the North region, 298 municipalities in the Northeast region, and 12 projects simultaneously under execution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The year also marks the achievement of 72.9 million BRL invested, 4,167 healthcare units benefited, 20,731 pieces of equipment distributed (including healthcare, IT, and furniture equipment), 17,545 direct beneficiaries, and 9.7 million indirect beneficiaries. Meanwhile,<a href=\"https:\/\/juntospelasaude.org.br\/en\/projetos\/ciclo-saude-protecao-social-norte-e-nordeste\/\">\u00a0<strong>Social Protection Health Cycle<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0supported public management and the qualification of APS teams in 32 municipalities across Par\u00e1 and Maranh\u00e3o, totaling 664 training sessions and engaging more than two thousand professionals.<\/p>\n<p>On the technological innovation front,<a href=\"https:\/\/juntospelasaude.org.br\/en\/projetos\/epcertify-with-hiperdia-care-pathway\/\">\u00a0<strong>epCertify with Hiperdia Care Pathway<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0implemented digital solutions for monitoring hypertension and diabetes in ten municipalities in northeastern Brazil, benefiting 88 UBS facilities and more than 198,000 people indirectly.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/juntospelasaude.org.br\/en\/projetos\/impulso-previne\/\">Impulso Previne<\/a>\u00a0expanded the strategic use of public Primary Health Care data to 243 municipalities across 15 states, supporting active patient monitoring and improvements in healthcare indicators. Complementing this agenda,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/juntospelasaude.org.br\/en\/projetos\/noharm-intelligence-for-patient-safety\/\">NoHarm<\/a>\u00a0used artificial intelligence to enhance patient safety by analyzing more than 28,000 prescriptions and strengthening clinical management in 341 UBS facilities, including in remote territories.<\/p>\n<p>In the field of health surveillance, the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/juntospelasaude.org.br\/en\/projetos\/aesop-alert-early-system-of-outbreaks-with-pandemic-potential\/\">AESOP \u2013 Alert-Early System of Outbreaks with Pandemic Potential<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0advanced the epidemiological monitoring of respiratory diseases, reaching 479 municipalities in 2025, with plans to expand to more than 2,000 municipalities across 16 states.<a href=\"https:\/\/juntospelasaude.org.br\/en\/projetos\/sus-in-the-amazon\/\">\u00a0<strong>SUS in the Amazon<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0established healthcare support hubs in riverside communities in the state of Amazonas, expanding access to in-person care, telemedicine, and dental services.<\/p>\n<p>Focused on comprehensive care,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/juntospelasaude.org.br\/en\/projetos\/weaving-threads-of-comprehensive-health-care-in-the-amazon\/\">Weaving Threads of Comprehensive Health Care in the Amazon<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0strengthened maternal and child healthcare and the monitoring of chronic conditions in six municipalities in Par\u00e1, while the project<a href=\"https:\/\/juntospelasaude.org.br\/en\/projetos\/united-for-the-elimination-of-cervical-cancer-in-brazil\/\">\u00a0<strong>United for the Elimination of Cervical Cancer<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0expanded HPV vaccination coverage in ten municipalities in Cear\u00e1, achieving results above 90% in some of the territories served.
