In its second year of operation, the Endowment reached <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>BRL 9.9 million in assets<\/strong><\/span>, an increase of <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>39.7%<\/strong><\/span> over the previous year, driven by contributions from 146 donors and <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>the matching mechanism established through philanthropist MacKenzie Scott\u2019s gift to IDIS<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In 2025, the FFF allocated <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>BRL 265,000<\/strong><\/span> to strategic initiatives across three areas: <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>advocacy, knowledge production, and stakeholder engagement<\/strong><\/span>. Under this model, only <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>real investment returns\u2014those generated above inflation\u2014can be used<\/strong><\/span>, preserving the Endowment\u2019s principal over time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In 2025, the Endowment generated <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>BRL 1.15 million in real investment returns<\/strong><\/span>, which will be available for investment throughout 2026, ensuring the continuity of supported initiatives and expanding their potential impact.<\/p>\n<p>Another development during the year was the expansion of contribution options. IDIS introduced the possibility of <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>making a donation when registering for its institutional events<\/strong><\/span>, resulting in <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>121 new gifts<\/strong><\/span> throughout 2025.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Next Steps<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Endowment\u2019s fundraising campaign remains active. The goal is to reach <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>BRL 15 million in assets by the end of 2026<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>BRL 25 million by 2029<\/strong><\/span>, expanding the FFF\u2019s capacity to support strategic initiatives that advance philanthropy and the culture of giving in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">There is still <span style=\"color: #35398e\"><strong>BRL 2.9 million in matching funds available<\/strong><\/span>, meaning that new contributions to the Endowment can be matched through the mechanism established with MacKenzie Scott\u2019s gift to IDIS.
