Cláudio Sertório was a Partner at KPMG from 2000 to 2026, having joined the firm in 1989. Throughout his career, he held several leadership positions, including Head of Banking & Financial Services at KPMG Brazil, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of KPMG Brazil and South America, and Audit Partner. Cláudio Sertório served as a member of several KPMG Brazil committees, including the Executive Committee, Operations Committee, Finance and Tax Committees, Risk Committee, IT Committee, Data Privacy Committee, Innovation Committee, and ESG Committee. He also chaired the Partners’ Compensation Committee at KPMG Brazil. Additionally, Cláudio Sertório is Chairman of the Deliberative Board of KPMG Prev and Chairman of the Fiscal Council of IDIS – Institute for the Development of Social Investment. He also served as Coordinator of the Banking Working Group (GT1) at IBRACON – Brazilian Institute of Independent Auditors. He holds degrees in Economics (1994) and Accounting (1999), both from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). He has also completed executive education programs at Fundação Dom Cabral (Leadership Development) and The Wharton School (Banking Academy). Furthermore, he completed the Audit, Oversight and Controls Committee Member Program (2023) and the Board Member Program (2021), both certified by IBGC – Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance.
