Denise Carvalho is Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at IDIS. Graduated in International Relations from the University of Brasília (UnB), she has more than 20 years of experience in design, management, monitoring and evaluation of social and business development projects, having worked in International Organizations (United Nations in Brazil and Equatorial Guinea), private companies (PwC and Polaries Participações) and in Third Sector (FNP, Caritas, Switzerland, Instituto Votorantim, Fundação Abrinq). Denise also has a postgraduate degree in Evaluation of Results and Impacts of Public Organizations and Programs, from the Universidad del Litoral (Argentina) and a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, from BI International, and specializations in the country and abroad. She also acquired a Master degree in Evaluation at the Universität des Saarlandes (Germany). Since 2023, through Social Value International, she is certified in the Social Return on Investment Accredited Practioner impact assessment protocol.
