Luiz Sorge has over 25 years of experience in the Asset Management industry. He joined XP Asset Management in August 2024 as a partner at XP Advisory, where he is responsible for the Index Funds, Offshore, and Fixed Income areas. Previously, he worked at BNP Paribas from 2001 until July 2024, serving as CEO of BNP Paribas Asset Management Brazil and Head of Latam. He has also worked at HSBC and CCF Banks. Luiz is the Vice President of the Investment Funds Forum and a member of the ANBIMA Board of Directors for Third Parties. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Board at IDIS – Institute for the Development of Social Investment. He holds an Engineering degree with a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado and has completed a Continuing Education Program in Economic Scenarios at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP). Luiz also holds the CFP® certification.
