Promoted by IDIS – Institute for the Development of Social Investment, CAF – Charities Aid Foundation, Latimpacto, Sitawi, and WINGS, and with RD Saude as partners, national and international organizations that work directly to strengthen the philanthropic field, the meeting proposes an immersion in new philanthropy dynamics. The program includes speakers from different countries and will present practical and inspiring experiences of actors engaged in addressing contemporary environmental challenges.
According to Paula Fabiani, CEO of IDIS, the event will highlight how philanthropy can multiply its impact and states that “The advancement of the climate agenda does not result only from international agreements and public policies. It requires coordinated action among different sectors of society, mobilization of strategic resources, and continuous collaboration.”
Strategies will be discussed ranging from support for community adaptation and post-disaster reconstruction to mobilization for climate justice, socio-environmental development, technological innovation, energy transition, and equitable public policies.
