Challenge
The relationship between Private Social Investment and the ESG agenda is a two-way street. On one hand, the ESG agenda contributes to more strategic decisions regarding private social investment. And on the other hand, private social investment acts as an important step for reaching the ESG agenda’s aims and goals.
IDIS methodology is based on the notion that it is necessary to connect the company’s institutional purpose and values to their strategic private social investment goals and business challenges.
Acknowledging the significance of this synchronization, Brametal gathered with IDIS to define a private social investment strategy connected to the ESG strategy and to the challenges faced by the company and the community.
Solution
The project consisted of the implementation of internal and external analysis, followed by a collective construction of the private social investment strategy, aligned with the ESG strategy.
Through the collective construction process with the Social Responsibility team from Brametal, we established the Private Social Investment’s acting axis, including the budget and resources needed to achieve the change goals. We also outlined the governance guidelines, the implementation plans with suggestions for new programs, as well as for the rebranding/adaptation of existing ones, resulting in recommendations from implementation partners and monitoring/evaluation indicators.
