Alê Almeida

Alê Almeida is Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Together for Health initiative at IDIS. She holds a masters degree in Political Science from PUC-SP, a bachelors degree in Social Sciences from FESPSP, and is currently a special student in the Public Health doctoral program (anticipated graduation 2025) at FSP/USP. With over 10 years of experience, she specializes in designing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating social projects focused on Black women, particularly in the areas of autonomy, communication, care economy, and political education. As a consultant in projects and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), she has served entities such as Fundação Perseu Abramo, Associação Brasileira de ONGs (Abong), Geledés, Instituto Lula, Faculdade Latino-Americana de Ciências Sociais (Flacso-Brasil), and Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política (Fespsp). She has volunteered with the Marcha de Mulheres Negras de SP, Ação Educativa, Centro de Detenção Provisória Belenzinho, and other socio-political collectives and organizations. She has supervised thesis projects at various educational institutions, including Escola de Extensão da Unicamp and Fundação Santo André. She is also part of the faculty of the postgraduate program Maestría en Estado, Gobierno y Políticas Públicas at Flacso-Brasil.
